Shifting Seasons

As the Summer draws to a close, there is a definite hint of change hanging in the air, a wonderful anticipation of beautiful Autumn days to come.

This is the time of year when I feel most connected to the world around me.
Deepening colours, hedgerows laden with berries and hips and that sense of a new term that never fails to make a lasting impression on me.

Country clothing.

Who can resist a crumble made from freshly foraged berries.

Bovine neighbours, always welcome, curious and entertaining.

The colours and textures of Autumn. I find this season offers comfort and a sense of home like no other.

Enjoy the last days of Summer and the beauty that lies ahead.
