40 Inspiring Years

Those of you who have followed this blog for a while will know only too well how much the countryside has influenced my life and how it continues to be a constant source of pleasure and inspiration.

When I first started giving serious thought to starting my own business I drew on all the elements that mattered and enriched my life; when designing my collection of wallpapers the countryside and the childhood memories I have of my time growing up in the beautiful Devon landscape and English country life was at the forefront of all my ideas and remains so.

So I am delighted that as a business we have chosen Farms for City Children as our chosen charity. Celebrating 40 years, this inspirational charity founded in Devon in 1976 by the children's writer Michael Morpurgo and his wife Clare offers urban children from all over the country a unique opportunity to spend time on a working farm and become involved in all aspects of farm life.

all images are the property of Farms for City Children and I have permission to use them. Please do not re use these images.

Children flourish, self esteem and confidence grows in the peaceful environment. For some children this is the first contact they have had with farm animals or an understanding of where our food comes from.

It is a thrill to be involved in such a life affirming charity and a donation from the sale of each roll of our wallpapers will go to help support them. If you would like to find out more about their work you can do so Here
