Gorgeous details in everyday objects.

Flowers, always a pleasure. Love this building. Fading and neglected, but all the more beautiful for it. Also really like the yellow just visible in the building next to it.

Time has been running away with me recently, I just seem to be on permanent catch up. Today is the first day in weeks that I feel I can sit back and relax a little. It is only when you stop that you realise just how tired you are. My husband is in Australia visiting family, I am using the space and time to catch up on projects that I don't always have the time to concentrate on. The dynamics change so much when you are left alone. The space the other person leaves seems large and rather odd. The "link" seems broken yet one that will reform on his return.

Love everything about this. The beautiful honied coloured stone, the detailed carving of the porch and the amazing colour of the door.

I hope your week is going well and that you all have a wonderful weekend.

  1. All beautiful details....I wonder where those lovely espadrilles are from?
My husband travels a lot on business, and after all these years together, it still feels odd when he is not here! I do make the most of this time to get motivated with other projects though, which is a positive!

Enjoy a slightly more relaxed time after the past few weeks!
