Love Hurts

Picked my first rose of the summer from my garden today, it is a beautiful, vigorous climber called Mme. Alfred Carriere. It is always one of the first to flower and I have planted one in the garden of each house I have lived in.
I needed something beautiful to lift my spirits and give me hope today. It seems as though my lovely man and I have hit a horrid place, I so hope we can come through it.

Keep Smiling!!

  1. Dear Cowparsley,

Such a pretty rose and even with its thorns- such a beautiful thing! Keep your chin up and I hope all turns out well!
